About Me

My name is Maureen McCormack.  I’m a landscape and nature artist based in Falkirk.  I draw inspiration from my surroundings and the ever-changing landscape. I mostly work in oil and acrylic but I also enjoy watercolour and ink.  I have recently been working on some barrel art using barrel staves and lids.  I think that any artist needs to be open to new ideas and techniques.  Although I am relatively new to the art scene I am learning and I hope, improving all the time.  I attend Falkirk art club on a Monday and another in Doune on Fridays.  I am also lucky enough to share a studio space at D2.
